The first of its kind Professional BIPOC Yachting Community!

Melanin is the most ancient and worldwide pigment in living organisms. The very thing that colours the ink of an octopus and the soil of the earth. It dwells in your very essence.

Founder and Chief Stewardess Katie Storr created the Melanin Yachties Community to foster networking, vital connections for communication, educational programs and a support system for fellow Melanin Yachties working around the world on board Motor Yachts. It is the first community of its kind in the world actively seeking to recruit BIPOC yachting community members.

You can support our community through brand merchandise purchasing, each hat purchased assists with educational grants and programs to support our BIPOC members. To date we have funded major summer program for 8 young females seeking to break into ocean careers and various students needing assistance with maritime certifications.
